RLM Properties provides and manages residential housing in Champaign, Logan and Clark
Counties. This housing is comprised of five main categories; housing development, single family
rentals, apartment rentals, mobile homes sales, and housing rehabilitation & resale.
As in keeping With a family business, RLM Properties hired Cathy McNeely as a full time office
manager / bookkeeper. Cathy brings this position, 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper and an
accounting certificate from Clark State University.
The company hired on a contract basis, Connie Shaffer to perform sales & rental marketing
activities. This has resulted in hundreds of “Showings” during the year, substantially increasing
RLM Properties presence in the local housing market.
Richard McNeely has joined RLM Properties as general manager, in charge of day to day operations
In 2004, Marilyn McNeely was added to the company to oversee the area of purchase, and
rehabilitation of existing real estate. Marilyn is responsible for negotiations With and overview of
contractors working on these projects.
Jeremy Kennedy was added in 2004 to a full time position for property maintenance, and to
maintain our computer systems.
As president, Robert McNeely’s responsibilities have changed to include a focus on raising
additional capital from banks and private individuals, long term planning, and maintenance of the
company’s web site located at “RLMPROPERETIES.COM”.
RLM Properties began as a management company With the renting of a single family home in
1987. We now manage a four, nine, and thirty-two unit apartment complex, 2 two family units,
and a large number of single family homes.
In the last eight years, RLM Properties has begun to market used mobile homes, located in local
parks. We currently have a good working relationship With seven local mobile home parks. Both
park managers and local MH movers are now working closely With RLM Properties, to provide this
necessary segment of the local housing market.
RLM Properties is currently in the process of developing single family houses on individual building
lots. Purchasers of these homes use many of our creative programs such as our "Lease to
Purchase Program".
